Beautiful day out today so I though I’d be nice and take my dog for a walk. To start the trip off we make a pit stop for some water before we attempt the blazing sun, little did I know we would never make it to the park. After about 8 or 9 repeats of me getting within arms reach of her and then her taking off again, she crosses the four lanes of traffic trotting her happy little ass back to the car, keep in mind my car is still running, door wide open, and parked sideways on the road in lunch hour traffic, cars are honking, I get flipped a few birds, and the 2 people that are nice enough to get out of their cars and try to help me corral Karly are so old that they are doing more harm than good, they keep flailing around, yelling trying to get her to come to them, while she’s running scared in the opposite direction and I’m running around like a damn chicken with my head cut off! After about 6 minutes of this mayhem, a little kid who is waiting in the car at store while his mom pumps gas, pops open the car door and in Karly goes without a care in the world, while I’m running breathless, sweating, and thanking the Lord that neither one us are flattened on the road. Long story short Karly is now for sale and I’m probably going to need to see a doctor about the minor heart attack I experienced today!
